Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers are a historic NFL franchise with a history dating back to 1960. The team began as the Los Angeles Chargers, moved to San Diego in 1961 and became the San Diego Chargers. In 2017, the franchise returned to Los Angeles and once again became the Los Angeles Chargers.
The franchise won 1 AFL Championship, capturing the title in 1963. The Chargers have won 0 Super Bowl Championships, although the franchise reached Super Bowl XXIX following the 1994 season.
The Chargers have been home to legendary players including Lance Alworth, Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow, Charlie Joiner, Junior Seau, LaDainian Tomlinson, Antonio Gates and many other stars from the AFL, San Diego and Los Angeles eras.
